Yacht "Ono"
Round the World cruising yachtsman, Rick Martini, called in Spars and Rigging to work on the Mizzen mast of his 60ft one design "Ono". With one days notice we were asked to reconfigure his mizzen rigging, replace shrouds and set up an SSB antennae.
"The guys at Spars and Rigging were extraordinarily flexible and pleasant to deal with. I always knew what was going on and their costing was very clear with no surprises. They were really nice guys too !"

Yacht "Destiny"
Mike and JoAnne Gray from Seattle, Washington are preparing for a 7 year round the world cruise and we have been working with them to ensure the rig of their Wauquiez Centurion 42 is in perfect order. We have tuned their rigging, fitted lazy jacks and lifelines, rebuilt a hydraulic cylinder and much, much more.
"The service from Spars and Rigging has been exceptional. The quality of work is excellent and the staff not just capable and experienced but really great to work with. They are very professional, straightforward and reliable and I would not hesitate to recommend the company to sailors coming to New Zealand".

Yacht Charisma
Charisma's Kiwi owner, Ian Wood is a boat builder and foreman at Ashby's Boatyard in Opua. He has been preparing his Farr 10.6 for an initial 5 month cruise beginning with the islands of New Caledonia. Ian chose Northland Spars and Rigging to carry out a complete replacement of all his standing rigging.
"Rigging is such an important part of the boat and such a relatively small expense that it's silly not to check and replace it. Spars and Rigging carried out the work in a very efficient manner and I am really happy with the work done"
